The festival will be held Saturday, September 28th 2019 from 11-3pm at Greenwood Elementary School (both inside and on the grounds), a historic 1909 brick Seattle school in the heart of Seattle (near the Woodland Park Zoo and one of the city's most beloved public parks -- Green Lake Park).

The Portland Book Festival will be featuring authors in a storytime format at the kid’s stage, which has a new, larger location at the Oregon Historical Society. The picture book programming will be hosted by Emily Arrow, who writes ukulele songs based on picture books. Green Bean Books will have books available for sale.
Kate will be a featured author at the Feast of Authors on Saturday, September 29, from 4:00 to 8:30 pm at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington. The annual Feast will feature twenty authors, each moving from one table to another at fifteen-minute intervals throughout the evening, discussing their new books and answering booksellers’ questions
